Morgan was one of the actors in the informational film Safe Sex for Men and Women, which focuses on AIDS prevention and awareness. Proceeds from the video were given to the American Foundation for AIDS Research. Morgan is a member of the Entertainment Industry AIDS Task Force. Morgan led numerous fund-raising initiatives to combat the disease and presented testimony before a Congressional Special Committee about AIDS Education. Morgan is a part of the Board of Governors of APLA and Amfar's Board of Directors. She was asked to replace former Surgeon General C. Everett Koop at related events involving AIDS. Steve Bell, a news anchor, has also presented a AIDS Awareness Special. Ted Koppell interviewed Morgan twice for Nightline about AIDS. Morgan has been nominated by the Emmys for Diane English's Murphy Brown special written especially for Morgan. Morgan co-starred in ABC television's Your Money or Your Wife in the spring with Joan Rivers. The summer began with Murder At The PTA Luncheon. The movie was created Von Zerneck/Sertner, and also featured Cindy Williams & Marla Gibbs. The next part of her project brought Morgan to Luxembourg in which she appeared in the role of Sherlock Holmes and the Leading Lady in Harmony Gold's production. Christopher Lee and Patrick McNee were also in the show. Morgan also played in the psychological thriller "The Leading Lady" created exclusively for USA Network. This thriller garnered the best ever ratings for that network.
